The MCA ICT Resource Centre (MIRC) will be organizing the 1st Asia Women Business Power Conference on 18th June 2009 at auditorium, Technology Park Malaysia (TPM), Bukit Jalil. This Conference is a joint effort between MIRC, MIRC Incubator Sdn. Bhd. National Incubation Network Association (NINA), Technology Park Malaysia (TPM), Wanita MCA’s Women Entrepreneur Development Centre (WEDC) and Vtalent Corporation Sdn. Bhd.
Over 400 Business leaders, CEOs and exceptional women will come together in the celebration of women entrepreneurs and their achievements. This conference features powerful and inspiring women entrepreneurs throughout the region and promises to be both inspiring and motivational to all participants.
The event will provide insights to the business world from the eyes of women who lived through the rigors of tough economies, war and traditional mindsets and still made it through, now carrying wisdom and knowledge to share to their entrepreneurial journey and hard-earned wisdom under the auspices of the 1st Asia Women Business Power Conference.
Objectives:
- Inspire women in their entrepreneurial journey.
- Raise awareness of women entrepreneurial success in high impact sectors like Banking, ICT and Biotechnology.
- Creation of an Asia Women Business Network which will become a platform for closer cooperation among women entrepreneurs throughout the region.
- Kick-start a Women Incubation Program, a program that helps to develop and nurture women entrepreneurs.
- Empower more women into the entrepreneurial world.
- Inspire and motivate more women to be entrepreneurs.
Highlights:
- MIRC plans to launch the Women Entrepreneur Development Centre to support women entrepreneurs to start-up new businesses.
- The conference is anticipated to bring together participants from all over Asia, including Bahrain, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore and Vietnam.
